Common questions
How do I merge or split a PDF?
To merge, add your files and download the combined PDF. To split, select the pages you need and download them as one PDF, or use Separate pages to get one PDF per selected page in a ZIP. Page numbers always follow the current workspace order.
How does PDF compression work?
Lossless export rewrites the document using compressed PDF objects without reducing image quality. Savings vary, and some files may grow. Balanced and Smallest render pages as JPEG images at reduced resolution. This is often helpful for scans, but removes selectable text, links, and form fields. The combined download reports its size against the lossless version, even when compression makes it larger.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Reading, page previews, editing, and compression happen in your browser. Clear the workspace or close the tab when you are finished.
Can I use protected PDFs or interactive forms?
Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Save an unlocked copy before adding it. This toolbox assembles pages into a new document; document-level features such as bookmarks, digital signatures, and interactive forms may not carry over. Use a flattened copy for completed forms and review the downloaded file before sharing.
