Common questions
What JSON structure can I convert to CSV?
Use a non-empty array of objects with consistent field names, such as [{"name":"Ada","role":"Engineer"}]. CSV is a flat table, so flatten nested objects before converting.
Are CSV values converted to numbers automatically?
No. CSV values stay as strings when converted to JSON, which preserves values such as leading zeros in postal codes. Blank lines are skipped and the first row provides the field names.
Does this converter upload my table?
No. Conversion happens locally in your browser. Toolou does not upload or store the contents of your table.
